Also, I recently became a founding member of this blog (yippie!) and I saw in a post from some time ago you said you would send out some prints to founding members. Do you need us to write down our address somewhere? And does it matter if we live outside of the UK (Germany)? I’m still figuring out how Substack works…sorry!
Managed to find a copy of Biddy Martin's book on E-bay (Note to Katya, below- Amazon copies ARE stupidly expensive!) for a very reasonable price...
Early thoughts are that the current discussions about gender identity are clearly nothing new, Salomé seemed able to be a woman and to navigate different feelings without needing to change her biological sex.
...well done on the guitar clearance, I keep looking, from the Aussie cheap as chips cut down acoustic that kept me going throghout my sojoun in Melbourne to my first guitar, my now 30 yr old Yamaha andtoo many others, I just can't cut that emotional connection to them... I mean I can't play them all, in fact I can't play but...
